What we do

In 2018, I was blessed to go on a mission trip to Uganda in Africa. While on that assignment, God seriously began to deal with me in a number of areas. First and foremost, I had never experienced such a compassionate heart as I felt for the people of Uganda! Seeing the terribly poor living conditions, lack of food, clothing, and basic necessities was heart breaking. A number of communities have no access to essential basic services like schools, clinics, safe drinking water, cell phone networks, and many families have no latrine/toilet. After returning home, God was really moving me to do something to help the poverty stricken villages I had visited.

For about (4) years now, my wife and I together with a few friends, and my home Church have been supporting a local organization there called African children’s hope for love foundation Uganda. This wonderful organization is led by Pastor Mark Ssinamenye and his wife Rebecca. Their objectives resonated with the objectives of Unseen Hand Ministries. We decided to join hands with pastor Mark to start transforming these villages hrough the love and power of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Throughout COVID-19 season, we have helped to build an orphanage center (Hope Village), that doubles as a community transformation center (ctc) in order to provide a safe place for orphaned children and critically vulnerable children to live. We strive to keep them all in school, meet their medical needs, provide them with adequate food & water. This task has not been fully completed, but by God’s grace we have made good progress.

Due to the extremely high infant mortality rate in the region, our vision and goal is to build a medical clinic starting in 2023 with a hopeful completion date of early 2025. Services there will include a laboratory, antenatal unit, pharmacy, and minor surgeries among others. This is desperately needed as many young children in Uganda die daily. They are simply not able to afford the medication or very low cost treatments that either aren't available case by, or simply can’t afford the medication.

And Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, he who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

- Mark 16:15-1
